Landscape Design
Design fees will vary from project to project according to the intricacy of the project and the time involved in the drawing / creation process.
The design fee includes:
- A site discovery – to meet with you and find out what your desired outcome is for the space.
- I will take on-site measurements and plenty of photographs.
- With all of this information in hand – I go to the drawing board and begin the design (usually completed within 2 weeks / three weeks or more during busy season). You will be notified of accuarte timing during the initial meeting. Provision may be made for rare circumstances in which the design may need to be expidited.
- Once the design is completed I will return to visit you once again to present you with the design and go over all of the details to make sure you absolutely love it!
Each design is hand drafted with the birds eye view at a 1/8 inch scale (unless otherwise specified).
A 50% deposit is required at the initial visit with the balance due being paid at the time of the design proposal.
Landscape Sketch Kit
The Landscape Sketch Kits begin at $200.00 and may vary depending on the size and intricacy of the design.
The process of the Landscape Sketch Kit:
- Drop me an email about what you are wanting to achieve and we can have a conversation about it info@michellerileyhorticulturist.com. We will discuss what it will entail and pricing, you can then decide if you want to move forward. If we move forward…(I will also explain all of what follows to you during our discovery conversation).
- YOU take accurate photos of the area to be designed, at every angle – North – South – East and West.
- YOU provide accurate measurements of the structures and any exisiting beds involved – where existing trees, shrubs etc. are placed (which are to remain).
- Email all of this wonderful information to me at info@michellerileyhorticulturist.com
- I will give you a call (or via email if preferred) and go over what you have sent – I will ask many questions until I understand what exists and what you are looking to achieve.
- I will then draw up the Landscape Sketch Kit for you.
- Once completed a scan of the kit will be emailed to you with a plant list.
Each Landscape Sketch Kit is hand drafted with the birds eye view at a 1/8 inch scale.
The Landscape Sketch Kit fee is due at the onset. Once payment is received you can rest assured you will receive the completed kit back to you (through email) within 2 weeks. (Time may vary depending upon busy season – you will be notified of accuarte timing during the initial communication).
When the design is complete – Where do we go from here –
I am an independent desiger.
I am not an installation company.
I am not a plant nursery.
I DO have many connections in the industry.
I DO have many contractors I can refer to you for a free installation quote (if you do not already have a contractor in mind).
I DO have the ability and knowledge to guide you during the installation process (If you need guidance) if you would like to do it yourself.
Landscape guidance costs fall under the Landscape Concierge services.
